The Cannes International Festival of Creativity kicks off next week, and WFoA’s co-directors will be there to present insights from their recent book, Beyond Advertising: Creating Value Through All Customer Touchpoints.
To an audience of around 300 at the largest gathering of worldwide advertising professionals, designers, digital innovators, and marketers, Yoram (Jerry) Wind, Lauder Professor, Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School, & WFoA Academic Director, and Catharine Findiesen Hays, WFoA Executive Director, will be presenting, “R.A.V.E.S. and M.A.D.E.S: New Creativity Standards for the Future.” Andrew Essex, Droga5 co-founder and vice-chairman, will be joining them to provide cutting-edge examples that bring the book’s insights to life. They will be presenting on Monday June 20 from 1:45pm – 2:15pm.
At Cannes in 2013, Catharine and Jerry presented early findings about the future of advertising in an ever-transforming media landscape. They spoke about the power that advertising holds over culture and of harnessing context and technology to make messages relevant & respectful, actionable, valuable, and provide an exceptional experience and surprising story (R.A.V.E.S.). This year they will present a new “All Touchpoint Value Creation Model,” discussing the increasing power of customized context: multisensory, optimized for the audience, device, and environment, and synergies among touchpoints (M.A.D.E.S).
