Howard oversees JWT’s healthcare practice collectively, the largest team in the New York office. Included in the group is an extensive portfolio of U.S. and global Johnson & Johnson consumer and pharmaceutical brands as well as multi-brand engagements with many other leading healthcare companies including AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer and Ferring.
Howard has been a pioneer in DTC advertising, launching the original consumer campaigns for Lipitor and Prevacid, two of the world’s best-selling drugs. Recently, he was instrumental in spearheading a unique multi-agency WPP network offering that seamlessly integrates consumer DTC and HCP communication resources. He has also been an active member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies committee on DTC. He is a Bowdoin College graduate and loves baseball, Bruce Springsteen and, most of all, his wife and three children, with whom he lives in Rowayton, CT.
