“Advertising 2020” at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Professor Wind and Catharine Findiesen Hays led a Seminar on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at noon entitled:  Co-Creating Advertising 2020: What could/should advertising look like in 2020 and what should we do now for that future?

The session presented the Project’s findings, sparked with highlights from selected authors, and challenged participants to imagine a future that they would be inspired to co-create. The second part of the session presented the proposed action plan to create this future, as a road map, complete with alternate routes and scenic byways. Both the first and second parts of the program engaged the audience and empowered them to continue the dialog and action-taking post-Cannes.

The session featured a panel of 2-3 stand-out Advertising 2020 contributors from around the world and representing varied perspectives. The Advertising 2020 Project contributors who attended Cannes were invited to be active participants.
